Musicianly Radio

The whole archive,on shuffle.

Demos, jams, song journals, co-writes and live takes — from the 1980s to now. Most of it was never meant to be heard. Here it is anyway.

Musicianly Radio

I put the rough in rough demo.

Had you told me when I was younger that my demos, scratch tracks, song journals, improvisations, and late-night jams would someday be made public, I probably would have been sick about it.

These were never supposed to be final performances.

Old strings. No vocal warmups. No concern for technique. Ideas captured on cassette before they disappeared. Songs recorded with bandmates, friends, and co-writers—not because anyone thought we were recording the take of a lifetime, but because something was happening and we wanted to save it.

Looking back, I am grateful that I got over myself long enough to press Record.

These tracks document a musical life in motion: unfinished ideas, unexpected breakthroughs, wrong turns, loud guitars, quiet discoveries, and moments I never could have recreated.

Now I am glad to share them with you.

And it barely makes me sick at all.
